## Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. Once enabled, you'll need to enter an SMS code in addition to your password.

## How to enable 2FA

1. Click on your avatar in the top right corner
2. Select **Profile**
3. Click the **Edit** button
4. Scroll down to the **Private profile** section
5. Check the **Two-factor authentication** checkbox
6. In the **Verify by** field select **SMS**
7. Enter your phone number
8. Enter the SMS code to confirm your number
9. Save changes

## Important

- After enabling 2FA, you'll receive an SMS code on every login
- Make sure you have access to the phone number you provide
- Account administrator can enforce 2FA for all users
